2007 Harrison-Clarke Syrah Estate
A Syrah Dry Red Table wine from Santa Ynez Valley,Santa Barbara,Central Coast,California,USA
Review by Robert Parker
Wine Advocate # 177 (Jun 2008)
Rating: (91-94)

Harrison-Clarke’s 2007s are brilliant efforts.
The impressive inky/purple-hued 2007 Syrah Estate exhibits a stunning perfume of pen ink, graphite, blackberries, and chalk followed by a full-bodied, opulent personality with impressive delineation, purity, and texture. It will be drinkable upon release, but will not be fully mature for 3-4 years. It should keep for a decade or more.

From our nine-acre hillside vineyard in Santa Ynez, this is one of the few pure chalk/limestone sites in this area.

The results exhibit precision and laser-like minerality.
