The sensational 2007 Syrah Cuvee Charlotte boasts an inky/purple color as well as a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers, crushed rocks, blueberries, blackberries, and a hint of background barrique. With stunning concentration in addition to brilliant elegance, purity, and definition, this full-bodied wine comes across as relatively light on its feet because of its minerality and acidity. Admirably displaying the excitement of the 2007 vintage, it should drink well for at least a decade.

From our nine-acre hillside vineyard in Santa Ynez this is one of the few pure chalk/limestone sites in this area. The results exhibit precision and laser-like minerality.
