The 2006 Syrah Cuvee Charlotte has a dense purple color and is accompanied by sweet notes of blue and black fruits intermixed with graphite, chalk, and spring flowers. Although still somewhat closed, it reveals terrific purity, structure, and plenty of upside potential. Give it 2-3 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following 10-15 years.
